This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
In the mid-1970s, the F-15 fighter, which was urgently deployed as the main air superiority fighter of the U.S. Air Force, shifted production to the C type with improved avionics. The double-seat B-type, which was necessary for conducting model conversion training at the time when flight simulation equipment was immature, was also produced as a D-type with updated avionics, but MSIP (Multi-State Improvement Program) was applied from the middle of its production forward. Later, based on this double-seat F-15D, it was developed into the F-15E Strike Eagle fighter-bomber.
