This is a resin-cast aircraft kit.
The Mirage G 8.01 is a multi-seat twin variable-wing trial interceptor aircraft developed by Dassault of France. Based on the Mirage G, the multi-seat long-distance attack aircraft was jointly developed by the UK and France. Although it was originally planned to have two M53 engines, the prototype had a 9K50 engine. The prototype flew for the first time in 1971, and the second prototype (G 8.02) recorded a speed of Mach 2.34 in 1973, which was the highest recorded speed in Europe at the time. However, due to the high cost of the complex variable-wing mechanism, the project was canceled.
This full resin kit includes a vacuum canopy and decals for one version.
