Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The IJN evaluated the capability of the “Shiden Kai” to redesign it for replacement by the Zero Fighter. After a number of test flights and improvements, the upgraded version, N1K3-J Model 31, was armed with Type 3 13.2mm machine guns and the engine was moved six inches forward. The N1K3-A was designed as a carrier borne fighter based on the N1K3-J, and the prototype had landing tests on IJN Shinano, however, none were built.
Contains parts molded in orange and clear plastic, and includes decals. Completed kit measures 125mm long.
