This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

The F-15J Eagle was active as the main fighter of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, protecting the skies above Japan. This aircraft was based on the U.S. Air Force’s F-15C, which began deployment in 1974; the Eagle has its own tactical electronic warfare system, J/TEWS, and its own data link system too. Unit deployment began in 1982, and it still plays a role in Japan’s air defense. It is also deployed at the Japan Air Self-Defense Force Komatsu Base, and two units, the 303rd Squadron and the 306th Squadron, are keeping an eye on the air defense of the Sea of Japan. At the air festival held at Komatsu Air Base on September 19, 2022, after the coronavirus epidemic had calmed down, the 303rd Squadron showed off a specially painted aircraft. The dragon on the aircraft’s nose and tail, associated with the squadron’s symbol “Fighting Dragon,” attracted much attention.
