This is a resin-cast aircraft kit.
As seen in the new anime movie Girls und Panzer das Finale,” the Kensan (Japan Tank Association) performed a demonstration flight at the opening ceremony of “Infinite Orbit Cup! In real life this aircraft was called the Kawasaki Ki-78, and was developed by the Imperial Japanese Army to study laminar-flow profile wings and possibly be used to attempt a world speed record. One prototype was built; however, performance did not meet expectations and the project was cancelled in 1944.
This resin kit comes to us from Platz in conjunction with Unlimited Air Models.
