Description

This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

Here is another one of those “Why did they do this?” projects. As Germany was losing the war and pulling back they needed to extend the range of the V2. Van Braun came up with the idea of adding lifting surfaces which would allow the rocket to glide. The pilot – if he survived takeoff – was to aim the rocket and bail out! They actually launched two of these.
Imported into Japan by Hasegawa. This is the Special Hobby kit from the Czech Republic. Rather simple on the detail with a vacuum-formed canopy. Assembly is easy, but you’ll want to clean things up extensively and perhaps add additional detail. Includes launcher assembly as a stand..
