Nowhere is this more apparent than in “The Cockpit,” which features several WWII aircraft, including the Fw 190D-9 and the Me 262-1a. His work isn’t limited to the printed page – “The Cockpit” became an anime in 1993. This limited edition kit combo features two warbird kits: a Me 262A-1 and an Fw 190D-9, along with markings inspired by Leiji Matsumoto’s “Black Knight of Berlin” battlefield manga, which was featured in “The Cockpit.”
