This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The T-2 was used as an advanced training aircraft by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. An exceptionally popular example was the Flight Guidance Corps’ T-2 painted as a virtual enemy aircraft in a dark gray camouflage scheme, introduced in about 1986.
