This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Actually an A6M5b, this release of Hasegawa’s 1/72 Zero 52 attempts to address one of the “problems” of late-war IJN fighters – that “they only come in green over gray”. The Jinrai Squadron of the 731st Naval Air Group painted their wingtips white, making for a “different” look. Kit includes decals for 2 a/c of this squadron, plus lots of extra serial numbers should you desire a different aircraft.
