Accurate Miniatures roars back into the new-kit market with this exquisite model of the Vought SB2U-1 “Wind Indicator.” This all-new release features fully detailed pilot’s cockpit and radioman/gunner’s positions with photo-etched seat belts, a complete engine assembly, optional extended and retracted landing gear, optional stores loads of practice bomb dispensers or 100 lb. bombs for under the wings, and either a drop tank or 1000 lb. bomb for the centerline. Single-piece closed canopy and multiple-piece open canopies are included along with a canopy masking set. Decals are for the Commander Air Group USS Ranger (CV-4) during the 1940 “Neutrality Patrol.”
