1/48 Kawasaki T-4 “11th SQ Blue Impulse 20th Anniversary”

This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

Introduced in 1988, the Kawasaki T-4 is a subsonic trainer that replaced Japan’s aging fleet of Lockheed T-33s and Fuji T-1s. The JASDF’s Blue Impulse aerobatic demonstration team transitioned to the T-4 in 1995. To celebrate twenty years of T-4 flight, the Blue Impulse team decorated their aircraft with a special trim scheme.

When completed, this model kit measures about 258mm long and has a wing span of about 207mm. Parts come molded in gray. Includes clear parts and decals.
