In the beginning of the ’30s, people began to consider the possibility of a high-speed bomber that could outstrip contemporary fighters. One of the realisations of this idea was the twin-engine bomber Ju88, designed by German Junkers FlugZeug – und Motorenwerke AG company.
Since the spring of 1941, Ju88A-4 planes were produced with liquid-cooled Jumo 211J engines, with increased power and more armament.
The Ju88A-4 became the biggest and more important Luftwaffe bombers. They took part in most of the Luftwaffe operations up to the end of the war.
Kit will measure 300mm long when complete, with a wingspan of 418mm. Instruction sheet with drawings, and decals are included.
