This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

A rather simple kit of the Joint Strike Fighter from a Chinese firm. The parts breakdown is more like a typical 1/72 kit than something in this scale. There’s very little in the way of crisp detail here, but that’s the nature of the actual plane, too. Still, hard-core air modelers will probably be looking for more around the engine, landing gear, etc, than this kit provides. Like many Chinese-made kits, flat surfaces have a slightly rough finish to them as the tooling is not as highly polished as Japanese kits. This can be to your advantage, however, when doing a stealthy, flat finish. At this price, though, it’s hard to complain! Engraved panel lines.
