This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
This model kit is a completely new mold! The Caudron G.III is a single-seat military biplane reconnaissance aircraft that was developed by the French Caudron brothers from their own G.2, and it flew for the first time in 1914. Due to its excellent qualities, good visibility, and easy maneuvering, it was used by many troops, including the French Army, after the outbreak of World War I. In France alone, 2,450 of this aircraft were built, with hundreds more were produced overseas. It was operated on the front lines until the middle of the war, and then used as a trainer aircraft. In 1921, a French female pilot crossed the Andes Mountains for the first time in the world with a G.III. In addition, the Fengtian clique of the Republic of China used several aircraft as trainers until the Manchurian Incident in 1931.
This kit from Copper State Models comes with photo-etched parts and decals for four French military versions by Cartograf. Place your order today!
