Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Tempest F-6 was developed for the Pacific Front, but because the war ended before it could be launched there, only a small number were produced compared to the Mk.V. This aircraft featured a tropical air filter, a large radiator to support the high output of the Saber V engine, a carburetor intake and an oil cooler intake on the leading edge of the wing root, similar to the Mk.II. The F-6 was deployed in Cyprus, Iraq, Egypt and other areas after the war, and it was the last reciprocating fighter used by the Royal Air Force.
This model kit includes a new resin main wing and radiator parts, as well as decals for four versions. Please be aware the kit is packaged in a plastic bag with a back mount. Order yours today!
