Reissue of the highly detailed Platz 1/144-scale Shiden Kai two-kit set with decals and new vertical stabilizer parts to build them as any of six early model airframes: the orange Type 21 prototype “91”; “343-15” of the 343rd Naval Flying Group, 301st Squadron’s Commander’s aircraft; “517,” the prototype Model 32 as seen at Kawanishi’s factory; “343-27” of the 343rd Naval Flying Group, 407th Squadron; “Yo-105” of Yokosuka Naval Flying Group; and “343-03” of the 343rd Naval Flying Group, 407th Squadron. Includes drop tank and rudimentary cockpit (seat, stick and instrument panel), as well as detailed engine and landing gear parts. See box photo or art for marking details.
