This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Following their all-new tool of the F-8C (F8U-2) Crusader in 1/144 scale, Platz has chosen to release an F-8K. This kit features a cockpit with side consoles, separate instrument panel, stick and nicely-done seat as well as finely-molded landing gear. The wing can be attached in either the raised or lowered position. Markings are for the pictured colorful VMF-321 aircraft, an F8U-1 of VF-142 and an F-8C used by NASA for digital fly-by-wire tests.
