This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
This kit features fine recessed panel lines, a simplified combination ejection seat/cockpit tub, and reasonably well detailed landing gear. Two air-to-air missiles and two Maverick missiles are also included. Decals are for two aircraft, however the instructions are in Japanese only, so read on!
The art on the back of the box is for aircraft 36 of the 13th Squadron. The other option is aircraft 61 of the 1st Squadron. Simply leave off the coat-of-arms on the rudder, replace the decal “36” with “61”, and replace the “13” on the nose with “1”. The other markings are the same. The paint scheme for both versions is olive drab and royal blue over light blue, with silver wing leading edges.
