This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
One of Tamiya’s better offerings in their 1/100 range, this kit features a mix of raised and recessed panel lines and includes the addition of a pilot figure, which will help hide the fact that there is no cockpit in there! What makes this kit stand out for me, though, is the decal sheet and the nose. Decals are included for 5 aircraft, including the colorful “Foley’s Folly/Ohio Express” and “Jeannie II”. What stand out about the nose is that it looks right. Not the straight taper of the Monogram kit, but the curved double ogive shape of the prototype. Well done, Tamiya!
