The special feature is F-35 in 2025. The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force’s destroyer KAGA, which has been upgraded to an aircraft carrier in preparation for the start of operations by the Self-Defense Forces, has begun F-35B onboard operational training on the West Coast of the United States. Starting with a preliminary report, this issue covers everything from carrier operations of the JASDF F-35B to the latest developments in the world of the fifth-generation fighter, the F-35.

Aircraft painted to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the JASDF at the 6th Airlift Wing, Komatsu Air Base, Japan, and aerial photography is also planned. Focus will also be on the 70th anniversary events that followed this fall. The report on international joint exercises such as Rammstein Flag and Keen Sword and the International Aerospace Exhibition (JA2024) held at Tokyo Big Sight will also be covered without fail.
