This is a sheet of water-slide or dry transfer decals for marking aircraft models.
This sheet includes markings for two aircraft from the 447th Bomb Group, USAAF Eighth Air Force, based at Rattlesden, Suffolk from 1943 to 1945. One of 43 Groups to fly from England based across Norfolk and Suffolk, the airfield had 3 runways, one at 6000 ft, the other 2 at 4,200 ft, fairly typical of the well-constructed bases rapidly set up in the mid-war period. This sheet includes 2 of the very nice nose-art sported by the aircraft of the 710th and 711th Bomb Squadrons, one of four squadrons making up the group strength. Group markings cover the early and late styles used by this group.
