1/72 F/JF/F-104A NASA Progressors

Description

This is a sheet of water-slide or dry transfer decals for marking aircraft models.

A set of high-quality decals, printed by Aviprint, for 1/72 F-104 kits to mark them as any of several NASA Starfighters: “FG-749” F-104A with ALSOR as it appeared in 1959 and again in 1961; “FG-961” as the RCS-equipped JF-104 in 1961; “FG-734” F-104A as used for aerodynamic heating and shock wave tests in 1960; “FG-961” F-104A in NACA markings from 1957 and NASA markings from 1965; F-104A “818” as used as a chase aircraft; F-104A “FG-763” as used as a chase aircraft for the X-15 in 1964; and NF-104s “NF-756”, “NF-760” and “NF-762” – this last aircraft is covered twice, one in pre-delivery markings as applied by Lockheed and again in the markings it was wearing just a few months later when it crashed during a test flight by Chuck Yeager. The instructions provide scale drawings to guide you through the modifications you will need to scratchbuild for the JF-104, NF-104s and ALSOR system.
