1/48 M61A1 Vulcan Cannon 20mm Cannon Metal Etching Parts Set

Description

This is a metal accessory set for use with aircraft kits.

The M61A1 Vulcan cannon is the fuselage-mounted machine gun that most U.S. Air Force fighter aircraft are equipped with.

Since its installation on the F-104 in 1958, it has been used on fighter aircraft of all eras, from the F-104 to the latest F-22.

It fires continuously while rotating six 20mm caliber barrels in a bundle.

It is characterized by its high rate of fire.

This set contains parts to realistically represent the M61A1 Vulcan cannon using metal parts in 1/48 scale.

The set includes metal barrel parts and etched parts such as barrel clamps.

The barrel parts are made of ground brass to represent its shape well.

It is good for detail-up of each 1/48 scale airplane model kits, as well as for use with character models and other kits.

This set has a sharp finish that only metal and etching can provide.

The set also includes assembly instructions.

Metal barrel parts and etched barrel clamps are included, but not the F-14 itself.
