This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
A reissue of the F-14A kit with new parts and decals to convert it into the F-14D prototype. Surface detail is a mix of raised and recessed panel lines, and the cockpit detail is a bit simplified, especially when compared to the Hasegawa kit. However, this kit is a LOT less expensive than the Hasegawa kit, plus it has really colorful markings! As far as I know, Hasegawa has never released the prototype markings, so this kit will make a very colorful addition to your shelf!
