The Ki-201 Fire Dragon was a fighter-bomber planned for the purpose of a domestically produced jet fighter, using information received from Germany in 1944. The aircraft was supposed to be used by both the Army and Navy as the cornerstone of air defense and anti-ship attacks. Due to engine malfunction and air raid damage, the war ended before its completion schedule of 1946.
