Description

This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

The T-400 is a basic flight training aircraft introduced to respond to the increasing training of new pilots, and to improve the efficiency and quality of flight education, such as for transport and rescue aircraft. It is the first parallel-seat aircraft used as a training aircraft by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, and is suitable for training crew coordination, which is the basic operation mode of multi-seat aircraft such as transport and rescue aircraft. The aircraft is equipped with the latest instrument display system and navigation equipment, and has high reliability and maintainability.

This 1/72-scale model kit from Sova-M is a completely new mold! This kit’s decals include normal paint, as seen on the package art, and the 50th anniversary paint of the 41st Educational Squadron of the 3rd Transport Air Group, which was shown at the base air festival held in 2004-05 (with the red background). There are four white stripes and two types of decals with the aircraft number “51-5057”: with the letters “3TAW” on the engine pod. Photo-etched parts and painting mask stickers are also included.
