Description

This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

From the manufacturer:

The Gruman EA-6B Prowler is a U.S. Navy and Marine electronic warfare aircraft. The EA6A, an A6 Intruder modified for an electronic warfare role, is utilized by the U.S. Marine Corps to interfere with enemy radar and for reconnaissance, and has been more successful in fulfilling its role than was ever anticipated.

Due to the large amounts of electronic gear mounted into the aircraft, the cockpit was elongated by 1.8m to seat the pilot and three electronic warfare officers. A large antenna dome is housed in a pod at the top of the vertical stabilizer, and radar deception and jamming gear is hung from five hard-point mounts under the fuselage, allowing the aircraft to mount various different electronic counter measure pods according to mission requirements.

This kit is molded in grey plastic and includes clear parts and decals. Completed model measures 287mm long with a 223mm wingspan.
