Description

This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

The C-130 Hercules is a medium-sized transport aircraft that began operation in 1956. Equipped with four turboprop engines, its features of high-mounted wings on a thick fuselage, strong landing gear and excellent takeoff and landing performance on uneven terrain gave it superior capability as a modern transport aircraft. The aircraft is constantly being improved, and it’s been in service for more than half a century; it has been adopted not only in the United States but also in various countries around the world. It was extensively used by the U.S. military during the Vietnam War.

This model realistically reproduces the style of the wings mounted high on the aircraft’s thick fuselage. The panel lines are sharply reproduced, the rear door opens and closes, and the inside of the cargo bay is heavily detailed. The landing gear can be built in landed or flight position, and transparent parts are included for the canopy and display stand. Silkscreened decals by Cartograf for aircraft active in the Vietnam War are included.
