Description

This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Commemorative paint markings unique to Okinawa are not to be missed!

About the actual aircraft:

The U-125A is a rescue and search aircraft that has been operated by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force since 1994.

Originally based on the DH.125, a twin-engine business jet developed by the British company de Havilland, the aircraft used by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force is based on the aircraft manufactured by BAe, which took over the production of the U-125A.

The Naha Rescue Team deployed at Naha Air Base in Okinawa also deploys and operates the UH-60J rescue helicopter.

The UH-60J is a rescue helicopter developed based on the UH-60 Black Hawk developed by Sikorsky in the United States.

It has been operated by the Japanese Maritime and Air Self-Defense Forces since 1991.

The Naha Rescue Team, which celebrated the 50th anniversary of its establishment in 2022, painted the aircraft specially and unveiled it at the Churashima Air Festa held in December, where it became very popular.

About the model:

The model is a plastic model assembly kit of two rescue and search aircraft operated by the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force, U-125A and UH-60J, in 1/144 scale.

The U-125A has a finished length of approximately 10 cm and a wingspan of approximately 10 cm.

The twin-engine fuselage is realistically detailed with panel lines, engine pods on both sides of the fuselage, as well as the legs and inside the leg storage compartment.

The UH-60J is approximately 11cm in length.

The characteristic fuselage shape is accurately reproduced in three sections: left and right fuselage and nose section.

The door panel lines on the left and right sides of the fuselage have also been expressed to give the finished model a dense feeling.

Legs, rotors, etc. are reproduced in separate parts for a three-dimensional effect.

Both parts are made by Eftoys and are easy to assemble.

The markings reproduce the markings of the commemorative painted aircraft produced in December 2022 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the unit’s founding in 2022.

The decals depict the commemorative paint scheme with the image of Okinawa’s connection with the Minsa pattern, Bingata, Deigo, and Shisa.

This kit is not to be missed by fans.

Reproduction of the U-125A and UH-1J operated by the Air Self-Defense Force in 1/144 scale.

Markings reproduce the commemorative paint scheme applied by the Naha rescue team in December 2022 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding.
