Mass production of the Focke-Wulf Fw190 D-9 began in the summer of 1944, and its superior climbing power and speed proved to be very useful in the latter half of the war. It was nicknamed “Dora” by the Allies.
This set of two model kits from Platz features delicately molded panel lines and the D-9’s distinctive long nose; they’ll be approximately 7cm long when completed.
