This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Hobbyboss continues their line of Grumman Ironworks products with this very nice kit of the F6F-5N Hellcat. Features detailed cockpit, engine, engine accessory compartment and landing gear, wings that can be assembled folded or spread, separate flaps, centerline drop tank of the simplified late-war style, bombs and racks and HVAR rockets. This release also features a new frame of parts with radar pod, flame-damping exhausts, 20mm cannon barrels and a new instrument panel. Decals are for “15” of VF(N)-107 and “59” of VMF(N)-541. Instructions are of the exploded-view pictorial type, with notes in English and Chinese.
