J9 is the name of the export type of P-35A imported by Sweden in 1940. The Swedish Air Force deployed 60 of these aircraft; they were mainly used to defend the capital city of Stockholm. After being used as a fighter until 1947, the J9 was used as a photo reconnaissance aircraft and a high-ranking private aircraft until 1953.
