This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
An all-new kit of the F4U-4 Corsair, in 1/48 scale from Hobby Boss. This builds into the initial-production variant, with six .50 caliber armament and round windscreen. Features include a detailed engine and cockpit, wing armament visible beneath optional access panels, optional folded wings, separate control surfaces, drop tanks and HVARs. Decals are given for VF-22 in 1948 and VF-61 in 1949.
