This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Limited reissue by Italeri of the Minicraft 1/48 scale P-38J/F-5E kit with decals to mark it as any of five reconnaissance F-5E Lightnings: two PRU Blue USAAF machines based in the UK in 1944, two natural metal USAAF machines (one from Italy and one from China) as well as a post-war natural metal Italian example. All parts for a P-38J save the “Christmas Tree” rocket racks are also included, should one wish to build a fighter variant instead. See box photo or art for marking details.
