This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

The Fw190A was an outstanding fighter aircraft, but its weight increased due to repeated refurbishments, and the increase in engine output was limited, making it inferior to the new Allied fighter aircraft. The output of the BMW air-cooled engine dropped sharply at high altitudes, making it difficult to intercept bombers. Therefore, a liquid-cooled engine was tested, and the type with the Yumo engine mounted was adopted as the D type. Although the replacement engine performed better at high altitudes and the D type was considered promising, it was unable to make a big contribution to the war effort due to a lack of fuel and veteran pilots.
