This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Limited reissue of the Fujimi 1/72 scale AH-1S kit with decals to mark it as a JGSDF Cobra in special markings for the 20th anniversary of the 3rd Anti Tank Helicopter Sqd. of the Western Air Defense Force. The large cobra decal included in the kit is from the “Western Air Defense Force 48th Anniversary” release, and needs to be carefully trimmed to remove the wings and the legend printed within the loop of its tail – or alternatively use those decals as-is (and set aside the small supplementary decal sheet included in this boxing) and build the kit as the 48th Anniversary bird – use the box art as a guide instead of the kit instructions.
