1/200 ANA B767-300 “Pokemon Jet 1999”

This is an injection-plastic airliner model kit.

The Pokemon craze escalated to the point in Japan where All Nippon Airways, Japan’s largest domestic airline, painted two of their aircraft (a 747 and a 767) in a very colorful design rife with characters from Pokemon, with Pikachu featured prominently on the nose and tail. Now Tomy has released kits of these planes to the delight of Pokemon fans everywhere!

This 1/200 scale 767 measures about 26.5cm long when completed. The blue portions of the markings are included in the decals and the fuselage is molded in white, so it will look pretty good even without painting. Of course, painting the wings and engines will make the finished kit more realistic, but most kids would probably be happy to leave it the way it is. A limited number of parts makes for easy assembly for even young modelers, but parents will want to help out if this is a first kit. Comes with display stand, too. Enjoy!
