This is an injection-plastic airliner model kit.
The Yak-140 was a prototype fighter design from theYakovlev design bureau in the early 1950’s. Designed as a light weight supersonic fighter with afterburners the Yak-140 lost out to the more similar looking and now famous Mig-21 along with the Su-7.
This new kit from Models Vit features parts molded in grey plastic with scribed panel lines and clear for the canopy. Decals are provided for the only version produced and tested. This kit measures 180mm long and 111mm wide when completed.
